These Terms and Conditions apply to StructSolve Engineering LLC ("StructSolve," "we," "us," or "our"), a licensed professional engineering firm providing residential structural engineering services in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Missouri.

2. SMS / Text Messaging Program

StructSolve Engineering LLC operates an SMS messaging program for the purpose of communicating with clients and prospective clients regarding structural engineering inquiries, project updates, appointment scheduling, and follow-up communications.

SMS messages are sent from phone numbers associated with our state offices:

3. Opt-In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from StructSolve Engineering LLC by checking the SMS consent checkbox on our contact or inquiry form. Opting in to SMS is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of receiving any services from StructSolve Engineering LLC.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary. The number of messages you receive depends on the nature and status of your project and inquiry. Typical messages include appointment confirmations, project status updates, and follow-up communications.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates set by your mobile carrier may apply to SMS messages you receive from us. StructSolve Engineering LLC is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from StructSolve Engineering LLC at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

7. Help Instructions

8. Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase or Service

Your consent to receive SMS messages is not required to purchase any product or receive any service from StructSolve Engineering LLC. You can submit inquiries, receive quotes, schedule services, and receive engineering reports without opting in to SMS communications.

9. Privacy and Data Sharing

10. Limitation of Liability

StructSolve Engineering LLC is not liable for delayed or undelivered SMS messages due to factors outside our control, including carrier outages, network issues, or incorrect phone numbers provided by the user.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Walk & Talk Structural Consultation

The following terms apply specifically to the Walk & Talk Structural Consultation service offered by StructSolve Engineering LLC.

Verbal Consultation Only

A Walk & Talk is a verbal on-site consultation. No written report, letter, drawings, calculations, photographs, PE stamp, or other written or electronic engineering deliverable is included with this service.

Fixed Duration

The consultation is limited to the selected 30-minute or 60-minute appointment period. Additional time cannot be purchased or added while the StructSolve representative is on site. The purchased consultation time begins when the StructSolve representative arrives and begins the conversation with the homeowner.

Appointment Timing

If the StructSolve representative arrives late, the homeowner still receives the full purchased consultation duration. If the StructSolve representative is present and ready at the scheduled time but the homeowner is late, unavailable, or not prepared to begin, the appointment is not extended beyond the reserved schedule.

Scope of Consultation

The consultation covers readily accessible areas only. The StructSolve representative may visually observe conditions, discuss possible causes, help prioritize concerns, and recommend next steps. No destructive testing, opening of walls, ceilings, floors, or finishes, moving of furniture or personal property, or entering unsafe or inaccessible areas is included.

No Third-Party Reliance

This verbal consultation is not a substitute for a formal engineering service. No third party, including but not limited to a lender, insurer, municipality, attorney, buyer, seller, or contractor, may rely on this consultation.

Recording

Audio or video recording of a Walk & Talk consultation is not permitted without prior written approval from StructSolve Engineering LLC.

Follow-Up Service Credit

If the Walk & Talk identifies a concern that requires a separate StructSolve report, inspection, or design service, 50% of the Walk & Talk service charges may be credited toward an eligible follow-up service. The follow-up service must be booked and paid for within 30 days of the Walk & Talk appointment. Travel fees are excluded from the credit calculation. The Walk & Talk fee remains earned and nonrefundable. The credit has no cash value, is not transferable, and any unused balance is forfeited. The follow-up service may require a separate appointment, site visit, and agreement.
