Founded On Truth. Built to Bring Clarity to Residential Engineering.
StructSolve Engineering started in the heart of Iowa with a simple conviction: homeowners, realtors, contractors, and lenders deserve structural answers they can actually trust. Today, we provide fast, professional, and impartial residential engineering services that help clients make confident decisions about homes, projects, and property investments.
Our Mission
StructSolve exists to transform the residential engineering industry by providing professional, reliable, and affordable solutions that uphold the highest standards of quality and integrity. With a focus on clarity and confidence, StructSolve elevates the experience of homeowners, contractors, realtors, lenders, and property professionals by treating every project with the dedication it deserves.
Truth is not just a slogan for StructSolve. It is the standard behind every observation, recommendation, report, design, and client conversation. Our job is not to exaggerate problems or soften facts. Our job is to give clients clear, impartial engineering guidance so they can move forward with confidence.
How StructSolve Started
StructSolve began from a simple but urgent need: people needed trustworthy structural answers. Before StructSolve, founder Caleb Vorpahl was running a roofing company and saw firsthand how often homeowners and buyers struggled to get objective, clear, and accessible structural evaluations. Too many people were making major decisions without the right information. Some were being pressured by contractors. Others were unsure whether a crack, beam, wall, foundation issue, or remodel plan was serious or manageable.
At the same time, close partners in the real estate world were seeing the same problem. Clients needed engineering guidance that was impartial, fast, professional, and easy to understand.
What began as late-night planning sessions became a shared vision: build an engineering company grounded in truth, clarity, and accessibility. StructSolve Engineering officially launched on March 15, 2024.
A Bold Start
The beginning was not polished. The first job was a basement inspection sold while the chief engineer was traveling in China and Caleb was in Florida. It was not perfect, but it was the start.
Momentum Confirmed the Need
StructSolve projected 50 projects in its first year. By month eight, StructSolve had completed 175. That momentum confirmed the need was real.
Growing Without Compromising
By November 2024, StructSolve expanded into design services. By March 2025, the company hired its first full-time engineer. Since inception, StructSolve has continued breaking sales records while staying committed to the values that made the company different in the first place.
StructSolve was not created to be another engineering firm. It was created to change what residential engineering feels like for the people who depend on it.

The Values Behind Every Project
Truth
Truth is the cornerstone of StructSolve. We document what we observe, explain what it means, and provide recommendations based on facts. Clients deserve clarity, not confusion.
Integrity
Integrity means our words and actions align. We follow through, take responsibility, and protect the trust clients place in us with every residential engineering project.
Impartiality
We remain neutral in every evaluation. Whether the client is a homeowner, buyer, seller, realtor, lender, or contractor, our conclusions are based on engineering judgment, not outside pressure.
Super Service
Super Service means doing the essentials exceptionally well: timely communication, professional presentation, clear deliverables, and a client experience that feels organized from start to finish.
Colors Rooted in Purpose
Every color in the StructSolve brand carries meaning. Together, they represent the principles, professionalism, and promise we bring to every residential engineering project.
Navy
Navy represents trust, stability, and professionalism. It reflects the depth of our engineering expertise and the serious responsibility we carry for every client. Just as a strong foundation supports a home, navy represents the solid ground our clients can stand on.
Gold
Gold represents excellence, value, and clarity. It symbolizes the quality of service we deliver and the golden standard of truth we uphold. Gold also represents the value clients receive: clear answers that protect their investments and peace of mind.
Light Blue
Light Blue represents clarity, communication, and approachability. Engineering doesn't have to be confusing. This color reflects our commitment to making complex structural information understandable and accessible to every client.
Dark Gray
Dark Gray represents balance, neutrality, and impartiality. Like the structural elements we assess, it stands firm without bias. We provide objective engineering guidance, not favoring buyers, sellers, or contractors, but serving the truth of what we observe.
Concrete
Concrete represents foundation, strength, and practicality. It's the backbone of every structure we evaluate and the solid ground beneath every recommendation we make. Concrete also honors the residential construction industry we serve.
Together, these colors tell the StructSolve story: trustworthy expertise (Navy), excellent service (Gold), clear communication (Light Blue), impartial judgment (Dark Gray), and solid foundations (Concrete). Every report, design, and consultation reflects these values.
