How StructSolve is Preparing for Year 2

A Trial by Fire: Year 1 Reflections

StructSolve’s first year has been nothing short of a trial by fire—one that has proven the strength of our foundation and our commitment to truth. We have built something unique, something that no one else in the industry has done before. This year has been defined by major milestones, including the successful execution of our Design Services (Chapter 3 of the Services Handbook), overcoming the loss of key executive staff, and developing our own in-house CRM system to bypass the burden of costly third-party software. Through these challenges, we have refined and streamlined our project execution to ensure we can now guarantee a 72-hour turnaround time on most observations and reports.

Beyond our internal growth, we have laser-focused our services on homeowners, realtors, and contractors, ensuring that the people who need us most receive structured, professional, and accessible engineering solutions. We’ve also taken a step forward in education, leading training sessions and presentations for teams who rely on our expertise. If we could summarize our first year in one sentence, it would be this: A trial by fire and the confirmation of the strongest foundation of truth I’ve ever seen.

Sharpening Our Focus: Priorities for Year 2

As we enter our second year, our goal is clear: maximize profitability while scaling our impact. A viable company serves everyone involved—our clients, our employees, and the industry at large. To ensure that StructSolve remains financially strong and sustainable, we need to focus on eliminating unnecessary spending while increasing the volume of projects we take on. At the same time, we must maintain a reasonable gross profit margin per job, ensuring that growth does not come at the cost of quality or financial stability.

One of the major initiatives we are implementing this year is the introduction of “Observation Only” services tailored for realtors. This new service offering will allow us to provide a more competitive price point for those clients while maintaining efficiency in our reporting process. By refining the scope of our services and offering strategic alternatives, we can broaden our market appeal without compromising the integrity of our work. Additionally, we are actively looking to expand our team, particularly in the Engineering and Operations departments, where additional support is most needed. The more structured and capable our team becomes, the better positioned we are to meet the increasing demand for our services.

Beyond expanding our workforce, we are committed to continuing the development of our in-house software tools to improve efficiency and scalability. These tools will allow us to automate key aspects of our workflow, reduce administrative overhead, and enhance our ability to handle larger volumes of projects without sacrificing quality. By investing in technology that directly improves our internal operations, we can ensure that StructSolve remains agile and adaptable in an evolving industry.

Expanding Opportunities & Strengthening Our Industry Position

Building a strong company culture is just as important as expanding our services. We want StructSolve to be known not only for the quality of our work but for the professionalism and engagement of our team. To support this, we are introducing internal incentives for task completion at the office, helping to create an environment where efficiency and productivity are rewarded. Additionally, we are restructuring our sales compensation models to ensure that those who bring in business see greater financial benefits for their efforts. Sales is the lifeblood of any company, and as we push forward, we want to make sure that our sales representatives are positioned for success.

Our commitment to innovation and industry leadership does not stop at internal development. We are actively recognizing a shift in the residential construction industry toward greater professionalism and stricter regulations. Insurance companies and money lenders are no longer tolerating the fraudulent practices that have plagued this space for years. As a company built on truth and integrity, we are uniquely positioned to lead this transition. We are preparing for an industry-wide adaptation to heavier regulations, ensuring that we remain ahead of the curve while continuing to offer services that meet the highest standards.

Looking forward, we want to make it easier than ever for clients to engage with us. We are working toward enabling online service ordering, providing 24/7 access to project representatives for real-time communication, and developing a client login portal where customers can track their data, reports, and project updates. The ability to provide real-time access to information will enhance client satisfaction, streamline communications, and reinforce StructSolve as a forward-thinking leader in the engineering space.

Big Dreams, Bigger Execution

The long-term vision for StructSolve goes beyond Year 2. Expansion is at the core of our future strategy, and we are actively exploring opportunities to establish additional locations that will allow us to serve a broader market. Growth at this scale requires careful planning, but we are confident that our internal systems and processes will support our ability to scale effectively. With more locations, we will be able to offer StructSolve’s expertise and professionalism to new regions, reinforcing our position as a dominant player in the industry.

Hiring full-time employees across all major roles is another key component of our strategy. As we grow, it is imperative that we establish a team that is not only technically capable but fully aligned with StructSolve’s values and mission. We are not just looking for employees; we are building a team of leaders who will take StructSolve into the future. This includes exploring internship programs and partnerships with educational institutions to bring in fresh talent and ensure a steady pipeline of skilled professionals.

Our sudden rise in the industry is no accident. The demand for professionalism and truth in residential engineering has created a gap in the market that only StructSolve has been able to fill. By the end of Year 2, we will no longer be just another player in the industry—we will be a force to be reckoned with. The industry is moving toward integrity, transparency, and accountability, and we are leading that charge. We are not just keeping up with change; we are driving it.

The Bottom Line: Truth Wins

By the end of Year 2, StructSolve will no longer be an up-and-coming name—we will be a major force in the industry. The world is shifting toward integrity, professionalism, and transparency in residential construction and engineering, and we are the ones leading that change. We exist because the truth matters, and because our clients deserve nothing less.

We are Founded on Truth. Now, it’s time to build the future.
